Job description

SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, coordinates the movement of nonconforming material for the facility.   Responsible for ensuring compliance with the customer and Company quality system specifications and requirements. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

  • Perform quality review and disposition of non-conforming material and generate corresponding reports 
  • Process systems and physical inventory of non-conforming material
  • Generate sketched of dimensional non-conforming material
  • Maintain the MRB spreadsheet with accurate data
  • Conduct scrap walk (non-conforming materials review)
  • Process, investigate and disposition RMA’s (customer returns)
  • Interface, investigate and complete both internal and external corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance to SFC and customer quality system requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

SALARY RANGE: $65,000/yr - $75,000/yr


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED. 

  • Minimum of one year working in a manufacturing environment.

  • This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a technical or business school.

  • Three to five years related experience and/or training in manufacturing environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiar with ERP systems
