Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Under direction of the Senior Program manager - Workers Compensation, this position supports the Senior Program Manager to oversee medical and disability case management of workers compensation claims at all Kohler Co. operations within the United States with specific emphasis in Wisconsin. 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Initial review and assessment of incident reports resulting in medical care.
  • Initial review and assessment of medical care related to occupational injuries.
  • Request and obtain medical records related to occupational injuries.
  • Submit claims to the Workers Compensation Third Party Administrator.
  • Review medical records and participate in claim investigations.
  • Monitor ongoing medical treatment and case management services related to occupational injuries.
  • Facilitate Return to Work plans related to occupational injuries.
  • Perform ongoing medical case status assessments and tracking.
  • Act as a liaison between Workers Compensation and non-occupational benefits administrators.
  • Serve as a point of contact to injured associates, Operations Management, site EHS, workers compensation administrators, medical providers and Nurse Case Managers.
  • Participate in clam reviews.
  • Maintain Injury/illness records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
