Saturday to Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

To effectively handle communications and codes through the switchboard and to relay calls and messages to the proper person or department using a pleasant, clear phone voice and proper etiquette skills so that customers perceive excellent, competent service.

  • Minimum Requirements
    • Experience:On the job training.
    • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Preferred Requirements
    • Experience:Previous switchboard or telephone experience.
  • Operates the PBX answering incoming and in-house call requests.
  • Responds to all emergency codes quickly and calmly with appropriate overhead paging.
  • Contacts patients for an address update as indicated by Supervisor.
  • Reviews updates in the communication book and initial memos.
  • Inventories contents of safe at the beginning of each shift in the presence of a security guard.
