About the Role

The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager will lead growth and culture for the North American division. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business expansion and organizational capability by owning talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and culture integration. Working alongside the Director of HR Operations, you will empower people managers and build a culture of high performance and continuous learning.


Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition (Growth & Sourcing)

  • Transition Sourcing: Move the organization away from reactive "box-filling" recruitment to proactive talent pipeline building.
  • Sales & HQ Expansion: Source, attract, and hire high-potential candidates to support the growth of technical headquarters, local operations, and nationwide commercial networks.
  • Hiring Playbook & ATS Launch: Implement an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and establish a standardized "Hiring Playbook". Train hiring managers on interview scoring, structured check-ins, and ATS tools.


Talent Development & Performance Culture

  • Competency & Potential Assessment: Partner with internal leadership to audit current talent, mapping competencies, growth potential, and succession plans to overcome performance gaps.
  • Manager Enablement & Tools: Equip people managers with structured tools and frameworks to conduct regular 1-on-1s, manage performance issues constructively, and execute consistent onboarding.
  • Development Budgets & Programs: Establish and manage the talent development budget to deliver targeted learning maps, progression paths, and leadership enablement.


Culture & Global Alignment

  • Culture Lead: Champion Caleffi’s core values, mission, and commitment to total quality, operational rigor, and sustainability.
  • "One Caleffi" Global Strategy: Collaborate with Global HQ HR to bridge local North American expansion initiatives with global corporate strategy and values.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Time-to-fill and quality-of-hire for high-potential growth roles.
  • Manager adoption rate of ATS tools, structured 1-on-1s, and standardized onboarding.
  • Employee retention and progression map implementation.
  • Successful execution of the 2026–2027 HR Roadmap milestones.


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of combined experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, or Learning & Development, ideally in a fast-growing mid-sized or manufacturing enterprise.
  • Strategic & Hands-On mindset: Proven ability to build HR programs from the ground up while remaining engaged in daily recruitment and coaching.
  • Leadership Coaching: Demonstrated success in training, coaching, and upskilling line managers in performance management, structured interviewing, and team development.
  • Systems Tech-Savviness: Experience selecting, launching, or managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and performance tracking tools.
  • Cultural Alignment & Vision: Ability to act as a change agent, building a growth mindset culture while respecting long-standing organizational values.
