The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the firm's business professional talent strategy by leading full-cycle recruitment efforts and contributing to initiatives related to onboarding, retention, and employee experience with a primary focus on recruitment.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies, including creative and proactive sourcing methods such as LinkedIn outreach.
  • Review candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with position requirements and manage recruitment activity through the applicant tracking system.
  • Perform initial candidate interviews and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership on final candidate selection, salary recommendations, and employment offers.
  • Complete 30-day check-ins with new business professionals to support engagement and successful onboarding.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing business professionals and gather feedback to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Lead local office orientation and support onboarding for new business professionals and attorneys
  • Serves as a resource for local office leadership on first level employee relations matters.
  • Support for Affirmative Action compliance and Diversity & Inclusion outreach efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements; make recommendations and implement enhancements as appropriate.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Talent Acquisition Assistant and Coordinators.
  • Support additional talent initiatives as assigned which may include candidate experience, interview training, reporting and analytics, and employee onboarding.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting or as a human resources generalist required.
  • Previous high volume recruiting and/or professional services experience preferred.

The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.
