Job description

Summit Behavioral Solutions provides early intervention to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a data-drive, client-focused team that provides in-home, clinic, and school-based services in the Greater Puyallup area.

MUST HAVE A VALID CBT (CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN) CERTIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity
  • Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders
  • Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA
  • Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan
  • Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavior Analyst
  • Review data and progress reports with the Behavior Analyst in order to strategize program improvements
  • Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assists in the creation of instructional materials
  • Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary
  • Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings
  • Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Clear criminal background check

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalence
  • Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification from the Department of Health
  • Previous experience in Autism or other related fields
  • Experience in conflict/crisis resolution
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver License and proof of insurance
  • Reliable transportation
