Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Richardson, TX: Lead Director, Software Development Engineering to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps;Java, Python, or Node.js;XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, J2EE or JavaScript;REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra database;JIRA, Rally, or Confluence;Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices;Analyzing user needs and develop software solutions using various tools, frameworks and technologies;Writing application code and deploying to production; andDeveloping backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions. Pay Range: $156998.00/year to $288400.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
