Software Dev Engineer II
Location: Irving, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) to join a collaborative engineering team. This engineer will help design and build large-scale, highly distributed systems that support business customers globally. The role is focused on back-end development, scalable architectures, cloud technologies, and solving complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop solutions based on provided requirements and designs.
  • Build scalable applications leveraging AWS technologies.
  • Evaluate and make decisions about the use of new or existing technologies and tools.
  • Solve complex technical challenges involving large volumes of data.
  • Deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Coach and mentor junior development engineers.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: Candidates must have 3+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience. This includes experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. It also requires 2+ years of design or architecture experience with new and existing systems and experience with Object-Oriented Design.
Technical Skills: Strong experience with C++ development is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of distributed systems, scalable architectures, AWS Cloud technologies, and object-oriented programming principles. Experience building large-scale, multi-tiered applications and services is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Generative AI.
  • Experience supporting business-facing platforms or enterprise-scale applications.
Work Environment
