Community Director (Social Worker / Counselor / Psychologist) - Salisbury, MD

Job Type & schedule:

•Full-Time

•4-day workweek (Monday - Thursday) - 36 hours per week

•On-call responsibilities as required

Job Summary: Seeking a Community Treatment Director to lead a multidisciplinary team providing intensive, community-based mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This role is responsible for program oversight, clinical supervision, and ensuring adherence to ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) standards while promoting recovery, stability, and community integration.

Responsibilities:

•Lead, hire, train, and supervise a multidisciplinary mental health team

•Ensure adherence to ACT evidence-based practices and regulatory standards

•Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and performance management

•Oversee program operations, staffing, and 24/7 on-call coverage

•Monitor and ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation

•Coordinate care with internal teams and community providers

•Lead daily team meetings and support treatment planning strategies

•Expand outreach and service coverage across designated regions

•Optimize psychiatric services and clinical interventions

•Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CARF, and state regulations

•Promote a safe and supportive work environment

Qualifications:

•Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

•Licensed Mental Health Professional required

•Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience (clinical leadership preferred)

•Strong knowledge of mental health treatment, crisis intervention, and care coordination

•CPR & First Aid certification required

•Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
