Pay Range: $60,850 - $73,019


Offering rate will vary within the listed range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

Role:

The Lead Social Worker is responsible for oversight of prevention services, child protective services, foster care services, and CINC adoption home studies. Assist with case management as needed. Determine if and/or when family preservation cases close or move to the next step. Serves as a member of the CINC team. Provides on-call rotation for abuse/neglect investigation determinations.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.


Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 6 months of direct social work experience; specifically, case management, child welfare and/or foster care. 6 months management experience.

Education: Master's in social work degree, current Kansas Social Workers license with the BSRB or willing to be licensed within 6 months by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
