Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit
Schedule: Evening shift 7pm - 7:30am; every other weekend required.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Telemetry/Med-Surg
- Proficiency in Epic EMR
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the Observation unit with the ability to float to various Med-Surg units as needed.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, ensuring timely intervention as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Compliance / Notes:
- All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
