The AVP, Accounting Policy & Financial Reporting will serve as a key accounting leader within Radiology Partners and report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. This leader will direct multiple teams responsible for ensuring accurate and timely external and internal financial reporting, providing technical accounting guidance on complex and judgmental matters (including M&A), and strengthening accounting oversight of the Practice's technology and software-related activities.
The role will serve as a strategic advisor to the CAO, CFO, and senior leadership on the accounting implications of significant transactions and business initiatives, while helping build a scalable accounting organization aligned with the company's continued growth.
AVP, FINANCIAL REPORTING & ACCOUNTING - POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Lead a team in preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures
  • Oversee the preparation of lender, board, and other external financial reporting packages
  • Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with U.S. GAAP
  • Partner with the CAO and CFO on large company readiness initiatives
  • Coordinate with external auditors on reporting matters.
  • Lead accounting analysis and conclusions for complex transactions, including (Business combinations, Consolidations and noncontrolling interests, Debt and equity transactions, Stock-based compensation, Lease accounting, Medical malpractice accounting, Own accounting position papers and technical memoranda).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
  • Oversee accounting team for internally developed software, capitalization, and amortization under (ASC 350-40)
  • Strengthen processes for capturing and recording technology-related expenditures accurately and timely
  • Improve communication and coordination with Technology leadership
  • Support accounting for software licensing and technology commercialization initiatives
  • Ensure consistent accounting treatment across the Clinical and Technology segments.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across financial reporting, technical accounting, and technology accounting
  • Build a scalable organization capable of supporting a multi-billion-dollar enterprise
  • Foster a culture of accountability, technical rigor, and continuous improvement
  • Embody the accounting organization's philosophy of being "brilliant with the basics".

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
  • CPA required
  • 10-15+ years of experience in accounting
  • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a large, complex organization
  • Public company/SEC experience preferred
  • Multi-currency and international accounting experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Strong experience in technical accounting research and memo preparation
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence across functions and communicate effectively with senior leadership and external auditors

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $190,000-$225,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
