Job description

The Director of Quality Strategy will lead cross-functional operational initiatives across Provider Networks and Product to ensure comprehensive data integrity and optimal performance in Quality reporting. This leadership role encompasses strategic oversight of the MSSP quality initiatives while managing day-to-day operations to achieve data completeness and performance excellence.  
 
The Director will be responsible for managing and resolving field queries, preparing comprehensive reporting for executive and practice leadership, and formulating strategic initiatives for MSSP Quality programs  across the organization.  
 
The role requires strong leadership capabilities, analytical experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while translating complex quality data into actionable insights that drive organizational excellence in MSSP Quality performance. 
 
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Director of MSSP Quality. This role will be critical in serving as the subject matter expert and leader on our organization's MSSP Quality program. The right candidate should have expertise in MSSP Quality performance, data ingestion, and client-facing skills.
Primary Duties:
  • Execution and Performance Management
  • Independently own day-to-day execution of the MSSP Quality program, including inter-team coordination.
  • Conduct in-depth policy research in collaboration with the regulatory team to provide practices, IPAs, ACO leadership, and other relevant stakeholders with timely guidance relevant to our MSSP strategy.
  • Conduct robust and regular analysis of the broader industry to identify trends and maintain Aledade's status as a leader in the sector.
 
  • Strategy and Reporting
  • Develop strategies for MSSP Quality performance in PY2026, PY2027, and beyond, in partnership with the SVP of Strategic Initiatives, SVP of Technical Product Management, and SVP of Practice Success, 
  • Lead strategic development for risk mitigation strategies in MSSP quality, including via policy advocacy, technical solutioning, and performance improvement.
  • Report to senior leaders weekly and as needed on the current status and hearts of the problem for all Aledade ACOs.
 
  • Partnership and Influence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including leaders in Product, Analytics, Policy, and the Field, to gain leverage and drive collective success.
  • Collect cross-functional feedback to support process improvement, including from partners functioning in practice-facing roles and clients.
 
  • Other Duties
  • Adapt to evolving organizational needs and priorities by taking on additional duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Unparalleled, 90th percentile or better ability to lead through influence
  • Relentless focus on data, using numbers to guide strategic decisions.
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to successfully navigate and manage relationships across all levels, both upward and downward.
  • Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides.
Preferred KSA's
  • Experience with sophisticated analytic methods and tools (SQL, etc.)
  • Technical experience with EHR integrations or other data source integrations 
  • Expertise in healthcare policy
  • Expertise and at least 2+ years experience working in HEDIS Quality-related work, preferably including the Medicare Shared Savings Program
  • Expert-level understanding of MSSP quality program policies and measures.
Physical Requirements:
  • This remote role requires prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This role requires up to 10% travel.
