What You Will Do:
The Raytheon Specter Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Material Program Management (MPM) to join our team in Tucson, AZ.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for managing a team of 8-10 individuals and driving supplier performance to meet program objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies in a fast-paced environment.
As a Senior Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of critical defense programs while directly contributing to our mission to protect and connect the world.
This position offers the unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team and collaborate across multiple disciplines within a cutting-edge industry.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as the interface between Supply Chain and the Program Office, Integrated Product Team (IPT), and other cross-functional teams for both development and production contracts.
  • Leading earned value management (EVM) activities, including participation in quarterly EACs and material sales forecasting.
  • Ensuring supplier material management, material forecasting, and adherence to cost and schedule requirements.
  • Developing and monitoring program and supply chain metrics to ensure health and alignment with goals.
  • Driving the execution of supply chain strategies, including supplier assessments, proposal activities, and risk/opportunity (R&O) management.
  • Utilizing critical thinking to propose innovative business solutions, increase operational efficiency, and support program success.
  • Managing production alignment with MRP to support operations execution.
  • Overseeing GSC proposal performance reporting and ensuring timely material deliveries.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, maintaining program financial health (EACs, AOP, R&O), and supporting future proposal activities.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience in supplier management, project management, and/or program management.
  • Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, such as MRP systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM).
  • Management or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work on programs requiring special program access

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience applying Earned Value Management principles or experience integrating project cost, schedule, risk and progress.
  • Prior experience in the defense industry, particularly in supply chain functions.
  • Experience driving proposal performance.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
