Technical Support Tech - Technical Support Tech I
Location: New Carlisle, Indiana (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Support Technician for a contract position. This role involves providing support to end users on a variety of technical issues. The position operates on a back-half schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm EST. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to end users by responding to telephone calls, emails, and direct requests.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Follow pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform job functions.
  • Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
Education: An associate's degree in a related area is preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the technical support field.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. The work schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
