Job description

Spavia Day Spa + Sway Wellness Spa | $125,000-$150,000 Base + $15,000 Per Deal, Uncapped

Location field: Denver, Colorado -- Hybrid/Remote

About this role

We invest seriously in franchise lead generation -- a best-in-class franchise development website, a New York public relations agency, professionally managed digital advertising, and a standing budget to test new channels. We're looking for a director who brings the other half: working those leads with discipline, building our franchise broker relationships, and proactively developing candidates that advertising alone will never reach. The pipeline is a shared responsibility -- we fund it and feed it; you work it and grow it.

About our brands

Spavia Day Spa is our flagship -- an accessible-luxury day spa with 63 locations, founder-led and independently owned for twenty years. Our locations report median gross sales of $1.1 million a year, and roughly one in two reporting locations tops $1 million. Median operating margin is 18.4 percent, our guests rate us 4.8 stars across some 31,000 reviews, and the concept qualifies for Small Business Administration financing. Our audited earnings disclosure is among the strongest in the wellness category -- and it holds up when candidates call our owners to check.

Sway Wellness Spa is our next-generation urban concept, built for younger city customers: a smaller footprint, a lower investment, and a blend of science-backed recovery and spa services designed to be shared on social media. Three Denver locations are open, and Dallas and Georgetown (Washington, D.C.) are signed. You will offer both brands -- two price points, two footprints, suburban and urban territories available across the country.

What we provide

  • Lead generation investment: more than $10,000 a month in professionally managed digital advertising, franchise directories, and follow-up campaigns -- currently producing 50 to 80 qualified leads a month, and growing.
  • Marketing and public relations: a franchise development website that does real selling before the first call, professional video and photography, and a New York public relations agency keeping both brands in the business press.
  • Room to experiment: when you find a lead-generation channel worth testing, we fund the experiment.
  • Process and infrastructure: a documented seven-week candidate journey from first call to signing, a modern sales-tracking system, territory mapping, experienced franchise owners who take validation calls, and founders who attend every Confirmation Day.

What you'll do

  • Manage and convert inbound leads: respond to new inquiries within one hour, guide candidates through a disciplined discovery process, and close ten or more agreements a year once you are up to speed.
  • Develop our broker network presence: franchise brokers (also called franchise consultants) refer qualified, pre-screened candidates, and we are joining the two largest broker networks in the country. You will own those relationships -- presentations, webinars, personal connections with top consultants, and the conference circuit -- with each relationship registered in your name. Broker referrals should grow into 30 to 40 percent of our closings.
  • Develop multi-unit franchise owners: our strongest candidates are owners who already operate multiple franchise locations -- especially in health, wellness, beauty, and fitness -- whose current brands have run out of good territory. Ours is open across the country. You'll identify these operators, make the first approach, and lead them through to multi-location agreements, with research support and founder involvement behind you.
  • Grow our existing owner base: develop expansion agreements and referrals from current owners -- the warmest pipeline in franchising.

How we work

We run franchise development on measurement rather than instinct. Together we track how candidates advance at each stage and what each lead costs by source, test different approaches, retire what underperforms, and build what works into a playbook. Weekly pipeline reviews with the founders run on numbers. If that structure sounds supportive rather than confining, you'll do well here -- and the playbook you build becomes your case for growing into Vice President of Development.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $125,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
  • $15,000 or more for every deal you close -- uncapped, with part paid at signing and part when the location opens
  • Higher per-deal rates once you pass eight deals in a year; multi-location agreements add up quickly. A proven closer should realistically earn $275,000 to $350,000 in year one
  • A clear promotion path to Vice President of Development as the system scales
  • Work from anywhere with easy access to Denver: monthly Meet the Team Days at headquarters, plus travel for Confirmation Days and broker conferences. Denver International Airport has nonstop flights from 236 cities, so most of the country qualifies

What we're looking for

  • A proven closer who can also create opportunities -- in franchise development, or in high-value consultative sales such as commercial real estate, wealth management, medical sales, or business brokerage
  • Familiarity with multi-unit franchise owners and how experienced operators evaluate their next brand
  • A process orientation: you can show us a sales funnel you measured, an experiment you ran, or a playbook you wrote
  • Existing relationships with franchise broker networks are a plus
