Job Description Summary:
ModMed is seeking a highly strategic, execution-focused Director, Program Management Office (PMO). Reporting to the VP, Business Operations & Strategy, this individual will drive the execution of a comprehensive enterprise maturity roadmap, ensuring our systems, processes, and governance are scaled to support the company's next phase of growth and organizational maturity.
This role will serve as the enterprise program coordinator, partnering across executive leadership and business functions to drive alignment, governance, and disciplined execution of company initiatives. If you thrive on turning complex, cross-functional dependencies into streamlined, predictable execution, this role is for you.
Your Role:
Enterprise Program Management:
  • Refine and drive the enterprise maturity roadmap across all functional areas
  • Establish program governance, executive steering committees, and operating cadence
  • Define workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics
  • Maintain the integrated master plan and critical path
  • Identify program risks and escalate issues appropriately

Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Partner closely with executive sponsors and leaders across all functions
  • Ensure alignment across initiatives while driving accountability for deliverables

Governance & Executive Reporting:
  • Develop executive-level reporting, including: overall dashboard, critical path milestones, risks and mitigation plans, budget tracking, decision logs, steering committee materials, and board updates
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Optimize Operational Controls: Support teams in upgrading internal controls, financial reporting workflows, and corporate compliance frameworks
  • Mitigate Risk & Solve Bottlenecks: Proactively identify execution gaps or resource constraints and implement swift, collaborative solutions to keep key initiatives on schedule
  • Change Management: Drive operational excellence by facilitating executive decision making, coordinating communications, supporting organizational change, and ensuring leadership alignment
  • External Partner Management: Manage relationships with strategic partners and ensure that any external work integrates seamlessly

Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of enterprise PMO or transformation leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives in high-growth environments.
  • Public or PE-Backed Experience: Strong background operating within or building operational infrastructure for private equity-backed or publicly traded organizations with mature governance, financial reporting, operational, and compliance disciplines.
  • Direct experience preparing a high-growth organization for major corporate milestones, operational audits, or public market operational rigor.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience partnering closely with Finance, Accounting and Legal to improve governance, reporting, controls, risk management and enterprise operating processes
  • Demonstrated experience establishing scalable governance, executive operating rhythms, cross-functional controls, and enterprise reporting within a complex, rapidly growing organization
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with a proven ability to run executive steering committees, present board-level updates, and drive cross-functional C-suite alignment without direct authority.
  • Master-level ability to convert enterprise strategic roadmaps into integrated master plans, managing dependencies, critical paths, budget tracking, and decision logs across disparate business functions.
  • 3+ years of management consulting, risk advisory, or business transformation experience at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or top-tier strategy firm (preferred)
