Position Overview

The Associate IT Project Manager - Finance will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to lead cross-functional business transformation initiatives. This role focuses on improving business processes, enabling technology solutions, and driving organizational change that supports company growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate can bridge business and technical teams while maintaining focus on measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, finance transformation, accounting operations, business process improvement, or related initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, integrations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and operational workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture requirements, and document decisions.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com preferred.
  • Experience building relationships across Finance, IT, Operations, and Business functions.
  • Working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and financial processes.
  • Strong financial acumen with accounting, finance, or FP&A exposure.
  • Ability to translate business pain points into system requirements and process improvements.
  • PMP certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through execution and stabilization.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to identify and deliver process improvements.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, solution evaluation, and project planning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare executive-level status updates, risk assessments, and governance materials.
  • Lead UAT planning, execution, and business readiness activities.
  • Support ERP, finance systems, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of new processes and technologies through effective change management.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
