Now Hiring a Director of Project Management
The Director of Project Management (DPM) for Farm Credit of Florida leads enterprise and department-level projects from initiation through closeout. This role partners with executive sponsors and business leaders to define scope, align resources, manage budgets and timelines, mitigate risk, and deliver outcomes that support organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
The Incumbent must utilize the following soft and technical skills to execute a heavy project load and the support required to achieve results. The DPM is a collaborative, organized, and adaptable leader who demonstrates sound judgment, accountability, and professionalism, and who builds trust through clear communication, follow-through, and a solutions-focused approach. This position is based in West Palm Beach, FL. Hybrid work schedule available.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective working relationships throughout the association.
  • Lead assigned projects from planning through implementation and closeout, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to define priorities, roles, governance, and project success measures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and secure the resources needed to execute projects effectively.
  • Build and maintain project plans, charters, milestones, dependencies, and tracking tools to support execution and accountability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers to maintain progress and compliance.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, align decisions, and keep teams informed.
  • Monitor project performance and provide clear, timely reporting and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Follows and utilizes known and accepted project management principles and practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, strengthening PMO standards, and improving project outcomes.
  • May lead and direct the work of others to support project completion.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, business, or related discipline)
Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. PMP or other industry certification preferred. Farm Credit experience preferred.

  • Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to compliance and ethical standards.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
