The company specializes in complex aluminum casting and machining solutions with a strong focus on quality, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. This Director of Operations role is part of a growing operation focused on scaling production, improving efficiencies, and maintaining strict industry and customer compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in aluminum casting operations, aerospace manufacturing standards, lean manufacturing methodologies, and machine shop oversight. This individual must be a strategic and hands on leader capable of balancing production goals, quality requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Lead all day to day manufacturing operations across casting and machining departments
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and customer quality standards including AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
  • Oversee production planning, operational budgets, labor utilization, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Manage and mentor operations managers, supervisors, and production leadership teams
  • Maintain safe manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations
  • Partner with supply chain teams and suppliers to ensure raw material availability and inventory optimization
  • Support customer satisfaction through on time delivery, quality assurance, and operational responsiveness
  • Review engineering drawings and blueprints to support production accuracy and manufacturing execution
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational performance with company growth objectives

Requirements of the Director of Operations:

  • 10+ years of operations leadership experience within manufacturing environments
