Join Cutting Dynamics in Avon, Ohio—part of Re:Build Manufacturing—where advanced technology and disciplined execution turn complex aerospace designs into reliable hardware. You’ll lead production on the floor, keep the plant safe and efficient, and ensure every part ships to spec and on time.

The impact you’ll make
  • Own the daily production and shipping plan; keep commitments and recover quickly when priorities change.
  • Use production and operating reports to identify issues; drive rapid root-cause fixes across operations and maintenance.
  • Schedule and coordinate facility maintenance and repairs to protect throughput.
  • Enforce a proactive safety culture through routine facility and equipment checks.
  • Coach and motivate team members toward stretch goals and consistent results.
  • Implement and uphold corporate policies, including safety and Equal Employment Opportunity.
  • Direct CNC machining operations to meet aerospace-grade quality, safety, and delivery standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with machinists, programmers, quality, and maintenance to improve utilization, streamline processes, and cut downtime.
  • Track machining KPIs, tooling availability, and workflow progress to ensure precise, repeatable output.
What sets you up for success
  • STEM degree plus 4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance (preferred).
  • Deep familiarity with CNC environments: machining processes, tooling, workholding, blueprints, GD&T, and aerospace quality requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead machining teams, coordinate schedules, troubleshoot, and elevate performance.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Solid math foundation (algebra and geometry).
  • Practical problem solver comfortable juggling multiple concrete variables.
  • Proficient with common office and data tools: word processing, spreadsheets, databases.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly; effective in a moderate-to-loud shop environment.
