Job description

Position Summary
The Analyst, Technology Portfolio Management supports the efficient execution and optimization of the Technology organization's processes, tools, and governance. The Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the alignment of portfolio management standards and best practices across teams while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of fostering collaborative relationships across the organization. This role involves managing business tools, supporting process adherence, and driving operational improvements to enable effective project and portfolio management.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Data Management & Reporting: Assist in managing and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and relevance in project and portfolio reporting. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Process Governance & Documentation: Support the development, standardization, and documentation of portfolio management processes and workflows. Ensure adherence to project standards and governance practices, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Technology Business Tools Administration: Manage the operation and administration of Technology Business Tools, including user setup, troubleshooting, and data architecture. Collaborate with partners and vendors to ensure tools are configured and optimized to meet business needs. Support the implementation of updates, integrations, and enhancements to tools and platforms.
  • Proof of Concept Management: Coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for both Technology and non-Technology teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Evaluate outcomes and provide recommendations for scaling or improving solutions
  • Training & Change Management: Educate Technology team members on tool functionality, standardized processes, and change management practices. Develop and deliver training materials to onboard resources and ensure effective tool utilization.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Building: Maintain strong working relationships with Project and Portfolio Managers to ensure consistent application of standards, processes, and tools. Act as a trusted partner and resource for resolving issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring they are equipped to use tools and processes effectively. Evaluate onboarding effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance tool functionality, and improve overall process efficiency. Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the team aligned with current portfolio management methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or related subject; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of experience analyzing large data sets
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, MS Project, Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Effectiveness working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 10%)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Scrum Certification
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation:
  • The base pay range for this position is between $62,000.00 and $101,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
