Base Salary: $125K–$145K + bonus + benefits


Target Total Compensation: $140K–$165K (including bonus)



A growing and well-established wealth management firm is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and serve as the operational quarterback for the organization.


This is an opportunity for a proactive, execution-focused leader who enjoys building structure, implementing systems, developing people, and driving accountability across the organization. The ideal candidate is a true implementer who thrives on turning ideas into action and ensuring operational excellence throughout the firm. This position is fully in-office and will work closely with firm leadership, internal team members, external business partners, and affiliated entities.


The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the firm's daily business operations while helping leadership execute strategic initiatives. This individual will oversee operational processes, people management functions, vendor relationships, technology implementations, onboarding, performance planning, and business administration.


The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a high level of accountability, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving pieces while ensuring projects and priorities move forward efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:


Operational Leadership:


  • Serve as the operational leader and central point of coordination for the firm
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations and administrative functions
  • Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and workflows
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Ensure projects, initiatives, and priorities are executed effectively
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement



Team Leadership & Development:


  • Partner with leadership on recruiting and hiring initiatives

Business & Vendor Management:

Financial Management:


  • Facilitate financial projections and planning with leadership

Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of operations, practice management, business management, or leadership experience
  • Prior experience within wealth management, financial services, accounting, legal, consulting, or another professional services environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success implementing systems, processes, and operational improvements
  • Experience leading teams and supporting employee development
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
