Devoted Studios is a globally distributed, multi service company moving fast in one of the most dynamic industries in the world. Our next chapter is about building the operational infrastructure and execution rhythm that carries the company through its next phase of growth, with speed, discipline, and momentum.

The Head of Operations is the pinnacle of orchestration at Devoted. They take the CEO's vision for how this company scales and implement it across every department: setting the plan, agreeing the dates with department leadership, holding everyone to those dates, and reporting status back before it is asked for.

That spans international expansion and compliance, tooling and infrastructure programs, operational policy design, and AI powered process improvements. They also directly lead the departments that form Devoted's operational foundation: Team Success, IT, and Recruitment.

This is a senior operational leadership role for a driven, methodical operator who thrives in a fast paced environment. Reports to the CEO.

Own the operational engine. Move fast. Deliver with discipline. Build the infrastructure that carries Devoted forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-functional execution

Own the delivery of the CEO's cross departmental initiatives end to end: clear ownership, agreed timelines, defined success criteria, on time landing.

Drive operational initiatives that span multiple departments to completion - international expansion and compliance, insurance and benefits programs, IT and infrastructure projects, new office setup, cross-functional policy design, AI adoption programs.

Partner with department leadership across Production, Finance, Legal, BD, Team Success, IT, and Recruitment to align priorities and deliver on shared commitments.

Maintain proactive reporting rhythms across operational initiatives - status, decisions needed, upcoming milestones.

Operational leadership

Directly manage Team Success, IT, and Recruitment. Hands-on people leadership - setting direction, developing team leads, driving performance and culture.

Set and hold operational KPIs for each function. Ensure they're staffed correctly, structured to scale, and integrated with the rest of the company.

Support Team Success in delivering strong culture, engagement, team lifecycle processes, and performance frameworks.

Support IT in delivering reliable infrastructure, cybersecurity, hardware and software provisioning, and scalable support.

Support Recruitment in delivering on hiring plans across the company, with strong candidate experience and speed.

Operational governance and international compliance

Own operational governance and international compliance across geographies - employment structures, contractor frameworks, tax and legal alignment in every region where Devoted operates.

Partner with Legal, Finance, and Team Success to ensure operational processes meet legal, security, and compliance standards in every region.

Anticipate operational needs tied to expansion - new geographies, new employment structures, new office footprints - and stand them up ahead of growth.

Company-wide operational systems

Own the operational KPIs and infrastructure that make the company run - dashboards, reporting cadences, quarterly business reviews, operational rhythms.

Drive the operational execution of quarterly commitments and cross-functional priorities across the leadership team.

Build the operational muscle of the company as it grows - the systems, standards, and rhythms that support scalability.

AI-powered operations

Champion the integration of AI tools across operational processes - in hiring workflows, IT support, compliance automation, reporting, knowledge management.

Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and identify where they can meaningfully compress operational work and enable the team to focus on higher-value activities.

Partner closely with technical leadership on AI adoption programs and their operational rollout.

Model AI-forward operating habits for the team, encouraging experimentation, curiosity, and thoughtful adoption.

Requirements

8-15 years of operational leadership at a services, co-development, or growth-stage tech company.

A track record of driving big cross-functional programs to completion in fast-moving environments - shipping outcomes, holding timelines, delivering under pressure.

Experience running Team Success (HR), IT, and Recruitment functions - or a subset of them - with real people-management accountability.

Strong track record of alignment across Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Production on cross-functional initiatives.

International operations experience - employment structures, contractor compliance, multi-country frameworks.

AI-forward and technically curious. Actively uses AI tools in their own operational work and has a track record of introducing them into teams they lead.

Strong operational reporting habits and clear communication with executive leadership.

Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth services business where the work is real and the pace is quick.
