Job description

The Director of Partner Expansion, North America will work closely with Legal and Compliance as we expand the reseller footprint. The expectation is to be a subject matter expert on service contract, insurance and split model structures. Lead the strategic plan for State and Provincial requirements as it relates to new products and reseller requirements. This role is responsible for driving business growth across Canada by supporting partner programs, optimizing compliance and pricing frameworks, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal and external partners.

How you'll make an impact
  • Coordinate with Legal, Tax and Compliance and become the Account Management subject matter resource on Canadian provincial warranty regulations, State regulations, licensing, and tax requirements.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and coordinate with legal and tax teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Support audit readiness and documentation for all state and provincial filings, fees, and point-of-sale requirements.

  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities to expand our partner programs within Canada and the US.

  • Work with our partner to develop and/or maintain the reseller pipeline, supporting new product launches, reseller expansion, and pricing initiatives.

  • Provide expertise to our partner on distribution strategies, emerging trends in the market, and feedback on opportunities to improve program performance.

  • Develop and provide partners with value propositions, market positioning, and remain aligned on deliverables.

  • Develop internal business cases, manage a P&L, ability to explain all pricing components and performance development internally and to our partners.

  • Develop and manage sales materials, training content, and client communications tailored to the Canadian market.

  • Support quarterly reviews, commercial updates, and internal reporting specific to the Reseller business.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelors in business administration, with a focus on Finance, or International Business

  • 5+ years working in the Insurance industry (preferably in Canada)

  • Ability to manage a large pipeline and sell complex, highly regulated products.

  • Deep understanding of Canadian warranty and insurance frameworks

  • Self-starter who likes to own a project from beginning to end.

  • Highly organized and proactive in driving growth initiatives

  • Fluency in French preferable
