Position Summary

The Director of Operations leads all corporate operations of CSG Advisors, overseeing Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Compliance, Administration, and Corporate Services. This executive leadership role is responsible for translating the firm's strategic objectives into scalable systems, documented processes, and measurable operational performance.

Working in close partnership with the Co-CEOs and CFO, the Director of Operations ensures the firm's corporate functions operate as an integrated organization enabling firm leadership to focus on clients, strategic growth, and business development while maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

The Director of Operations is accountable for the performance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of all corporate operations, ensuring the firm has the infrastructure, processes, and support necessary to achieve its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
  • Execute the firm's operational strategy while leading all corporate operations and support functions
  • Build scalable processes, systems, and organizational infrastructure
  • Establish KPIs and operational dashboards and lead continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects

  • Enforce firm-wide policies consistently across all functions and staff; provide direct feedback when practices deviate
  • Build, publish, and maintain a firm policy and procedures manual covering all support functions
Business Operations Support
  • Provide oversight of business operations that support client delivery, including contract administration and project budgets in coordination with Finance
  • Oversee proposal (RFP) execution process in coordination with Business Development
  • Maintain visibility into Business Development pipeline as client engagements flow to corporate operations
Qualifications Required
  • 7+ years in operations management, COO, or senior admin leadership roles — ideally in professional services or consulting
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Compliance, Admin)
  • Strong organizational and process-building skills; comfortable creating structure where little exists
  • Ability to hold staff accountable with directness and consistency — including pushing back on Co-CEOs when policies or decisions are not being followed
  • Strong written communication skills; able to draft policies, procedures, and documentation independently
Preferred
  • Background in regulated environments (government contracting, municipal finance, or similar)
  • Experience at a small- to mid-size professional services firm ($10–30M revenue range)
  • Familiarity with: QuickBooks Online, Productive (PSA), or comparable financial/project management tools
  • SHRM-CP or equivalent HR credential, or meaningful HR operations experience
