POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an innovative, strategic and fun Director of E-commerce to lead our successful and growing E-books and E-commerce teams. Ensuring both departments day-to-day goals are met along with strategic growth goals. Along with growing your interpersonal skills by collaborating with retail/agency leadership to develop strategy and drive performance in all E-business units. We offer a competitive salary and bonus plan.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure world class customer service practices are in place including meeting shipping deadlines and that customer inquiries and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation of E-business operating practices to maximize efficiency and growth in support of Goodwill’s Mission. Create a culture of continuous improvement with E-commerce teams.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, coach, and support the development of all E-commerce and E-books management and employees.
  • Prepare yearly budgets and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and adjustments.
  • Collaborate and provide training to retail store teams to maximize their E-Commerce and E-Book performance.

Travel Required: Yes, travel between Goodwill locations will be required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 7:00pm) Start and end times may flex. Schedule can vary depending on department need.

External Hiring Range: $80,000-$85,000

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 6 years' of experience in retail store or e-commerce required. OR
  • Associates' Degree AND 4 years' of experience in retail store or e-commerce required. OR
  • Bachelors' Degree AND 2 years' of experience in retail store or e-commerce required.
  • Experience utilizing web-based sites to merchandise and sell product.
  • Store management experience highly preferred.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
