A growing healthcare organization in the Central Valley is seeking an experienced Director of Billing to lead and optimize revenue cycle operations. The Director of Billing will oversee billing operations, provide leadership to the revenue cycle team, and ensure efficient processes around claims, collections, compliance, and reporting. This individual will play a key role in driving operational improvements while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities for the Director of Billing role:
- Lead and mentor billing and revenue cycle teams to achieve operational goals
- Oversee billing processes, collections, claims management, and denial resolution
- Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
- Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures
- Partner with executive leadership on revenue cycle initiatives and reporting
- Foster a collaborative, service-focused team environment
Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Billing:
- 5+ years of healthcare billing and revenue cycle experience
- Leadership or management experience within a healthcare billing environment
- Strong understanding of medical billing practices, claims processes, and collections
- Experience working with insurance requirements and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
