Job description

About PerformCB

PerformCB is an AI-powered performance marketing platform connecting top-tier advertisers with a curated network of publisher and supply partners across In-App, Social, CTV, and Native channels. Backed by Beringer Capital, we are evolving from an outcome-based marketing channel into a predictive, data-driven platform delivering measurable results for recognized brands in Financial Services, Fintech, eCommerce, Lifestyle & Entertainment, and Health & Wellness. Our proprietary AI engines drive meaningful incremental net revenue for our clients and provides necessary campaign and consumer intelligence to our partners.

The Role

The Executive Vice President, Account Management is a senior leadership role responsible for the performance, growth, and strategic development of PerformCB's top marketer relationships. This leader will own the client services function end to end building a high-accountability team of Growth Managers (Account Managers), establishing rigorous operating cadences, and driving the proactive strategies required to maximize revenue across our most important accounts.

This is not a relationship maintenance role, but a revenue leadership role. The ideal candidate brings deep performance marketing expertise, strong commercial instincts, and the discipline to build a team that is proactive, data-driven, and relentlessly focused on unlocking growth. We are actively recruiting from organizations where client services teams are held to quantified revenue outcomes including performance networks, affiliate platforms, DSPs, and high-growth marketing technology companies.

Key Responsibilities Account Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Own revenue performance across the top marketer portfolio, with clear accountability for budget utilization, YoY growth, and margin expansion
  • Drive proactive channel expansion strategies including CTV, NIL/influencer, post-checkout, keyword conquesting, and mobile VTA to unlock incremental budget and reduce advertiser-side constraints
  • Lead structured growth planning for key accounts: identify the specific supply gaps, attribution friction, and creative approval bottlenecks limiting each relationship, and build clear action plans to close them
  • Hold exclusivity and preferred-partner conversations with top advertisers to reduce competitive dilution and increase PerformCB's share of wallet
  • Partner with the Head of Partnerships to ensure supply-side capacity is matched to demand across the portfolio, escalating critical gaps and co-owning solutions
Team Leadership & Accountability
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of Account Managers (Growth Managers), establishing clear KPIs, structured review cadences, and a performance culture grounded in data
  • Redesign and own Growth Manager role definitions, performance expectations, and compensation frameworks in partnership with leadership
  • Implement bottoms-up monthly account planning across the top marketer portfolio, with forecasts tracked against actuals in regular operating reviews
  • Build a team that operates proactively identifying opportunities and risks before they surface in revenue rather than reactively managing inbound client requests
  • Recruit top talent as the function scales, with a focus on candidates who bring both client services excellence and deep channel expertise
Client Relationships & Strategic Engagement
  • Own executive-level relationships with key accounts, ensuring PerformCB is positioned as a strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor
  • Drive a meaningful increase in in-person and structured client engagement across the top account portfolio, with measurable outcomes tied to each visit
  • Develop and deliver client education materials on attribution, channel strategy, VTA adoption, and partner saturation that reinforce PerformCB's value and differentiate our approach
  • Deepen relationships with agencies managing advertiser relationships (e.g., performance marketing agencies) and evaluate strategic partnership structures where appropriate
  • Represent PerformCB at industry events and in senior client conversations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the technology and product teams to ensure that AI-driven tools (including dynamic payout optimization, LTV optimization and campaign recommendation engines) are fully leveraged across the account base
  • Partner with the compliance team to streamline creative approval workflows and build pre-approved creative libraries that reduce friction for key advertisers
  • Collaborate with the data and analytics function to quantify attribution challenges, model the revenue impact of VTA adoption, and build business cases that drive advertiser-side decisions
  • Contribute market and competitive intelligence to inform platform strategy and product prioritization
Qualifications Required
  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or digital advertising, with significant time in a client-facing or account leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated track record of owning revenue outcomes across a portfolio of advertiser relationships not just managing accounts, but growing them
  • Experience leading and developing client-facing teams, with a record of building accountability structures and improving team performance
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising channels including mobile, CTV, affiliate/performance networks, and programmatic; strong working understanding of attribution methodologies and mobile measurement
  • Analytically rigorous: comfortable diagnosing account-level performance issues through data, building business cases, and presenting findings to senior client stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to navigate complex advertiser organizations and influence decisions at the executive level
Preferred
  • Prior experience at a performance network, affiliate platform, DSP, mobile measurement partner, or comparable marketing technology company—including companies such as QuinStreet, MediaAlpha, EverQuote, Red Ventures, DMS, Fluent, Launch Potato, Liftoff, AppLovin, Moloco
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution concepts including VTA, click-based attribution, MMP behavior, and fraud detection tools (e.g., P360, IPQS)
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment with structured KPI accountability and regular performance reviews against quantified targets is a plus
  • Existing senior-level relationships across Financial Services, Fintech, Lifestyle & Entertainment, Health & Wellness, or eCommerce advertisers
  • Experience managing accounts across both mobile and non-mobile (web/native/CTV/influencers) channel mixes
Why PerformCB
  • Executive-level scope with direct access to the CEO and PE ownership from day one
  • A platform with proven advertiser demand and live AI revenue engines already driving incremental results a strong and differentiated foundation to build on
  • Backed by Beringer Capital with the resources and commitment to invest in growth
  • A clear mandate to build: define the function, set the standards, and leave a visible mark on one of the most important parts of the business
  • Collaborative leadership team that values ownership, intellectual honesty, and results
