Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager or Director level to join our growing firm! We serve a variety of tax-exempt and non-profit clients in multiple industries from healthcare, education, community outreach as well as many others. Our clients range from large, national level organizations to smaller local entities and everything in between.

A Tax Senior Manager or Director works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.ย ย 

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities, includingย Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Compensation and Benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. We take the time to evaluate our employees' wants and needs and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $141,000 to $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Further, we support our employees by offering flexible scheduled time off (STO), minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days!
