Director of Outpatient Services

Valle Vista Hospital:

Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132 bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and in their communities.

Position Summary:

The Director of Outpatient Services provides leadership for outpatient services and programs and is responsible for ensuring the clinical integrity of all programs. Responsibilities include direct supervision and management of all outpatient clinical services. Supervises all staff providing outpatient services. Promotes and maintains a therapeutic environment, with the development/ implementation of evidence-based clinical treatment programs. The Director of Outpatient Services provides oversight of all aspects of outpatient clinical care and ensures safe, ethical care to all patients attending outpatient services. The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for integration of the Outpatient program with the Inpatient facility and provides individual and group supervision.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology or related field.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience in an Outpatient behavioral program required. Supervisory/Lead experience preferred.

License: Licensed in counseling and/or social service field.

Preferred Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS regulations and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
