Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Nursing Services to lead our nursing team at Envive Healthcare of Evansville. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while driving clinical excellence, quality improvement initiatives, and staff development.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and develop the nursing department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Envive Healthcare's policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical outcomes, quality of care, and customer satisfaction

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including education, training, and feedback to improve clinical skills and job satisfaction

  • Develop and manage the nursing budget, resource allocation, and staffing schedules

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments, including administration, rehab, social services, and dietary

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to drive clinical excellence

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN License

  • Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry

  • Two years professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting

  • Knowledge of the Federal and State Regulations for Long Term Care

  • Knowledge of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities
