Job Title: Director, Streaming - Rock/Alternative & Country
A little bit about our team:
The Warner Records Streaming Strategy & Revenue Department is responsible for all aspects of: digital, streaming, physical sales, consumption, marketing and promotion. The department is responsible for achieving the company's revenue goals as well as helping to break new artists within the commercial channels.
Your role:
The Director, Streaming - Rock/Alternative & Country position exists to strategize and implement streaming focused initiatives on behalf of all Warner Records artists and brands.
Additionally, the Director, Streaming - Rock/Alternative & Country position will have a high degree of visibility across all company departments and will manage all aspects of commercial streaming projects to ensure all details of the initiatives and goals are delivered to partners in a timely & effective manner. This person will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, partner relationships, product development, and marketing for commercial streaming products.
Here you'll get to:
  • Drive Rock & Country Genre Revenue: Maximize streaming and marketing opportunities across all Rock & Country sub-genres (Alternative, Indie, Singer/Songwriter, etc.).
  • Optimize Streaming & Playlists: Implement best practices for playlisting and profile optimization to boost artist awareness and streaming performance.
  • Release Strategy & Timing: Collaborate with artists, management, A&R, and internal teams to plan single and album release configurations and timelines.
  • Execute Marketing Campaigns: Partner with internal marketing teams and digital streaming platforms to build and execute impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Manage Partner Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for key streaming accounts to pitch releases and develop strong business partnerships.
  • Utilize Data Analytics: Work with research and analysis teams to translate data analytics and consumption trends into actionable streaming strategies.
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Keep a pulse on shifting consumer demands, economic indicators, and competitor trends and releases within the ever evolving streaming landscape.
  • Support Business Development: Collaborate on new account deal structures, ensure compliance with contract obligations, and present upcoming releases at industry conferences.

About you:
  • You have 3-5 years' experience working in a label sales/commercial team, digital partner, or a related digital content industry
  • You have proven music streaming experience and quantifiable results
  • Established relationships in the music streaming community
  • The ability to work with and supervise others to develop and execute strategic projects
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • In-depth familiarity with music streaming services and social media networks
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with both creative and business oriented colleagues and partners

We'd love it if you also had:
  • Previous streaming / DSP experience
  • Experience with AI automation
