High School Musical Choreographer
Estes Park School District has a vacancy for a high school musical choreographer and is open for the 26-27 school year.
Responsibilities to include.
  • choreographing specific dance numbers for fall 2026 high school musical. Songs to be selected by Musical Director, Choir Director, and Choreographer
  • teaching choreography to high school students with varying levels of dance experience to include 2 2-hour rehearsals each week for seven weeks (14 rehearsals approximately see below)
  • attending additional rehearsals during final week prior to performances for polishing
  • occasional brief meetings with Musical Director and Director to discuss progress and changes
  • Choreographer must begin and end rehearsals at designated times

Previous experience in musical choreography and teaching formal dance in a group setting is preferred. Salary range for is $1680 to $1949, depending on experience. Rehearsals will be Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thurs., from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm beginning Monday, Sept. 8, 2026, and culminating with 3 performances Thurs, Fri, & Sat, Nov. 12, 13 & 14, 2026 at 7 pm. All rehearsals and performances will be in the ESTES PARK HGIH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM.
