Job ResponsibilitiesProvide direct interpreting both on site and virtually, in a variety of settings throughout the stste, using the modalities most accessible to comsumers involved while adhering to standards of professional conduct. Assist in all aspects of scheduling for the unit including, but not limited to: fielding service requests via phone and email; creating, confirming, modifying, and canceling service request; ensure all service request have required information, county tags, and service zones; rearranging assignments and service providers to maximize coverage. Update and maintain individual schedule and billing data for assigned service request; ensures service requests have all required information; add applicable mileage to service requests; add assignments to invoice regularly; communicates with scheduling team on the status of service requests.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsBachelor's Degree in interpreting, American Sign Language, Special Education, or related field and one (1) year interpreting experience or AA Degree in interpreting and three (3) years' experience and at least one of the following: RID certification, EIPA score of 3.5 or greater, SLPI score pf Advance Plus or greater, or any other nationally recognized interpreter qualification.
