Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in schools near Aurora, CO? This onsite, full-time contract role is perfect for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter eager to support students across multiple campuses. You'll work with both Special Education and General Education populations, providing interpretation for students with a range of needs from mild to severe.

This itinerant position ensures no two days are the same—you'll rotate between several school sites, collaborating closely with faculty and other service providers. Your expertise empowers students to engage fully in their education while fostering inclusion and accessibility.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, with strong skills in school settings.
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required.
  • Comfortable working onsite and traveling between schools within the area.
  • Experience with both SPED (Special Education) and General Education, supporting diverse learning needs.
