Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in schools near Aurora, CO? This onsite, full-time contract role is perfect for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter eager to support students across multiple campuses. You'll work with both Special Education and General Education populations, providing interpretation for students with a range of needs from mild to severe.

This itinerant position ensures no two days are the sameโ€”you'll rotate between several school sites, collaborating closely with faculty and other service providers. Your expertise empowers students to engage fully in their education while fostering inclusion and accessibility.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, with strong skills in school settings.
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required.
  • Comfortable working onsite and traveling between schools within the area.
  • Experience with both SPED (Special Education) and General Education, supporting diverse learning needs.
