School-Based Sign Language Interpreter

Location: Seattle, WA
Model: Full-time | On-site
School Year: 2026โ€“2027

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is looking for a dedicated and motivated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team for the 2026โ€“2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the country, providing school-based opportunities for interpreters in a variety of settings. Whether you're looking for a full-time, part-time, on-site, hybrid, or remote role, we have options that will fit your needs!

We are a creative and innovative team, and we'd love for you to join us in providing essential services to students across the country. From our leadership team to the clinicians, we aim to support each other, make an impact, and create a work environment that fosters collaboration and positive relationships with our districts.

What You'll Be Doing*:

  • Provide sign language interpreting services to support student access to instruction and communication throughout the school day.
  • Travel between campuses as needed, including to the New Market CTE program off-site location.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of communication access and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student participation and support provided.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of materials and resources to support student needs.
  • Follow all relevant legal and ethical guidelines in the provision of interpreting services within the school setting.
  • Stay informed about best practices and advancements in interpreting through professional development activities and continuing education opportunities.

  • Certification/qualification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification, EIPA, or state-specific requirement), or eligibility to obtain licensure/certification in the state where you are applying.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
  • Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing high-quality support.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between campus and the off-site CTE program.
