Pepsi-Cola of the Hudson Valley is an independent, family-owned Pepsi-Cola franchise distributor serving Hudson Valley communities for generations. Operating out of our distribution facility in Newburgh, NY, we are dedicated to delivering world-class beverage brands including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Lipton, and Aquafina to local retailers, restaurants, and venues. We are looking for a hands-on HR Recruiter to join our team and help us build a top-tier workforce across the region.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our entry-level recruitment across our warehouse, merchandising, and delivery teams. This is a hands-on, high-initiative position where waiting for resumes to roll in won't cut it—you will actively source candidates, build community pipelines, and host local hiring events. You will work directly with warehouse shift supervisors and sales managers to quickly connect motivated candidates with stable careers.

Qualifications / Key Responsibilities
  • High-Volume Recruitment: Own the high-volume sourcing, screening, and hiring process for entry-level roles, including Warehouse Associates, Order Selectors, Merchandisers, Driver Helpers, etc.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Write and run ads on Indeed, LinkedIn and other online sources. Attend hiring events and job fairs.
  • On-Site Hiring Events: Plan and execute frequent open-house hiring events and drive-thru interview days.
  • Fast-Paced Screening: Conduct high-volume candidate screenings and coordinate rapid on-site interviews.
  • Streamlined Onboarding: Move entry-level candidates efficiently through background checks, drug screenings, offer letters, and day-one orientation to ensure a smooth transition and reduce early turnover.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3+ years of high-volume, entry-level recruiting experience (warehousing, distribution, retail, or hospitality experience is a strong plus).
  • HRIS & Platform Expertise: Working knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, BambooHR) and proven success optimizing job postings on Indeed and sourcing via LinkedIn.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-motivated with a high-energy approach to direct sourcing, cold outreach, and community engagement.
  • Communication & Relatability: Strong interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with entry-level job seekers, warehouse personnel, and managers alike.
  • Bilingual Skills (Strong Plus): Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to support diverse candidates and staff in our local community.
  • Organization: Ability to manage high candidate volumes, track applications efficiently in an ATS/Indeed, and maintain clear follow-up timelines.
