Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic leader to own key initiatives as part of our Global Strategy team. As Director of Global Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving work from ideation to realization – supporting the growth of our global capability network to establish operational excellence and deliver long-term value. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring structure to an idea, roll up their sleeves and own execution of complex initiatives spanning global expansion, operating model evolution, infrastructure enablement and enterprise readiness.

​This role drives day-to-day efforts across a variety of areas, allowing leadership to focus on enterprise strategy, executive engagement and portfolio-level decisions. Initial focus areas may include global expansion, infrastructure enablement and operating model evolution but will evolve based on priorities.

Key Competencies

​Global Strategy Execution and Enablement

  • ​Support design and evolution of the enterprise’s global operating model, including capacity planning, footprint evolution and resiliency; lead development of standard frameworks, playbooks and decision criteria for evaluating and launching new opportunities
  • ​Advise senior executives on strategic global initiatives, emerging opportunities and scalability considerations; maintain executive-level materials summarizing footprint composition, concentration risk and location health
  • ​Translate enterprise strategy into executable plans, milestones and outcomes; ensure work is aligned with enterprise objectives, risk tolerance and long-term scalability
  • ​Lead global strategy initiatives from concept through early-stage maturity; coordinating across requisite workstreams to ensure milestones are hit and initiative stand-up is successful
  • ​Partner with business continuity and operations leaders to inform diversification and resiliency planning; identify structural improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency and resiliency across regions

Professional

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into executable, cross-functional initiatives while managing ambiguity, risks, dependencies and timelines
  • Demonstrated experience in global strategy and designing / executing global expansion programs
  • Experience shaping global talent or capability distribution strategies
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and succinctly to all levels of the organization including senior-level executives
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels in a hybrid, multicultural environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, global operations, shared services, enterprise transformation, location strategy, or similar role
  • 3+ years of experience in people management
  • Experience supporting global expansion, infrastructure enablement or complex cross-border initiatives (Preferred)
  • Experience in global real estate management (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of time, including international travel
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN
