Job description

Looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to serve as Senior Medical Director of our well established, hospital employed Breast Center.  Breast Imaging fellowship is required.    No call, no nights, no weekends.

Practice Location

  • SOMC Breast Center – 1121 Kinneys Lane, Portsmouth

Office Hours/Work Schedule

  • Breast center is open M-TH 8a-5p and Fri 8a-12p
  • Flexible schedule
  • No call, No weekends or nights

Staffing

  • 1 Fellowship trained Breast Imaging Radiologist
  • Breast Center Manager
  • Breast Navigators
  • Mammo Techs
  • US staff
  • Ancillary support staff

Case Load

  • Average 40-50 patients/day
  • Office procedures:
  • Stereo biopsies
  • US biopsies
  • Molli localization
  • MRI biopsies
  • 1-4 procedures/day on average
  • Modalities are completely digital with ACR (American College of Radiology) accreditation, NAPBC (National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers) through American College of Surgeons
