Job description

SOMC Breast Center is seeking a Fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their team in Portsmouth. This role offers a flexible schedule with no call, weekends, or nights, focusing on breast imaging and procedures. The center is fully digital, ACR and NAPBC accredited, and equipped with advanced technology to support comprehensive breast care.

Practice Info

  • Practice location: SOMC Breast Center - 1121 Kinneys Lane, Portsmouth
  • Staffing includes 1 Fellowship trained Breast Imaging Radiologist, Breast Center Manager, Breast Navigators, Mammo Techs, US staff, and ancillary support staff
  • Average caseload: 40-50 patients/day
  • Office procedures include Stereo biopsies, US biopsies, Molli localization, and MRI biopsies, averaging 1-4 procedures/day
  • Modalities are completely digital with ACR (American College of Radiology) accreditation and NAPBC (National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers) through American College of Surgeons
  • Equipment includes Hologic mammo/stereo, Secureview, Ikonopedia, Dynacard, Brevera stereo biopsy system, GE US, and MQ PACS

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Tumor Board meetings
