Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Shift Notes:

Evenings: Monday - Friday, 3p - 11p, 40 hrs/week; Call: weekday/weekend call rotation

Local Radius rule:  No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license)

Will float across campuses

UNIT INFORMATION:
Equipment -- Phillips Diagnostic, Carestream

OR Equipment -- Hologic breast machine, Phillips portable, Siemens Cysto, GE OEC c-arms

Fluoro Equipment -- Toshiba

Avg of daily patient scans per day for all techs: 100


REQUIREMENTS:

  • ARRT [required]
  • at least 15 months of X-Ray experience in clinic or hospital setting [required]
  • IA radiology license [highly preferred] -- will accept non-licensed candidates (MUST apply for license at acceptance)
  • Equipment experience: Phillips  [highly preferred]
  • Equipment experience: Carestream portables [preferred]
  • current/recent Operating Room competency/experience; [highly preferred]
  • GE OEC c-arm equipment experience [required]
  • Equipment experience: Siemens Cysto [highly preferred]
  • current/recent Fluoro experience [highly preferred]
  • 1st time travelers welcome; must have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience 


PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

 Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current X-Ray experience [required]

  • Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (X-Ray) – [required]
  • Active Iowa/IA license/IDPH State Permit – [highly preferred] [document]
  • Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
  • Driver’s License [document] [required]
  • AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support – [required]
