THE TEAM
As part of the Sales & Marketing division, the Director of Events and Group Services leads all aspects of event planning and execution, overseeing a high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and operational excellence.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Events and Group Services, you will lead and inspire a dynamic team responsible for planning and executing all group programs, including rooms and food & beverage events. You will drive revenue growth through strategic sales efforts while ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Lead and manage the Events & Group Services team, ensuring alignment with company standards and service excellence.
  • Drive revenue through proactive sales, client relationships, and strategic business development.
  • Oversee event execution from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences.
  • Monitor banquet revenue, forecasts, and budgets to meet financial targets.
  • Develop and implement departmental procedures and training programs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners within the region.
  • Ensure all events are detailed accurately and executed to brand standards.
  • Lead team training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

COULD THIS BE YOU?
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Events or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations and event management.
  • Experience with high-end events, wine programs, and luxury clientele preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in sales systems and event management tools.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on several factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
