About the Job:

The Revenue Excellence Financial Analyst Associate plays a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support the operational and financial performance of Revenue Cycle and Payer Relations & Contracting teams. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. The Revenue Excellence Financial Analyst Associate collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure data accuracy and integrity. This position supports data extraction, reporting, and analysis using tools like Epic Reporting Workbench and Microsoft Excel, and supports initiatives related to denial improvement, month-end reporting, and other revenue cycle projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform basic to intermediate data analysis requested by Elliot Health Revenue Cycle Management, including denials, payer variances, contract discrepancies, and revenue trends, using tools like Epic Reporting Workbench and Microsoft Excel
  • Assist in compiling and reconciling charge data, supporting monthly invoicing, and contributing to net revenue modeling for defined service lines
  • Supports in the design, build, and optimization of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting products for department leaders and clinicians that provide visibility into key revenue cycle metrics, operational performance, and payer relations
  • Validate and maintain data sources to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, Required
    • or 3+ years of Revenue Cycle reporting experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of progressive analytical experience, Required
  • Knowledge of and intermediate quantitative, and analytic skills, Required
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, Required
  • Intermediate skill level is Microsoft Office Products, Required
