Job Description Summary

FUNCTION

Information Technology is responsible for the use of any computers, software applications, storage, networking and other hardware or physical devices, infrastructures and processes for creating, managing, securing and exchanging all forms of electronic data. It incorporates leading-edge techniques for collaboratively enhancing the performance of installed systems, identifying new technologies, developing applications and transitioning from legacy to new systems.

SUB-FUNCTION

Cloud Data Solutions is responsible for cloud adoption, developing and coordinating cloud architecture and computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support, and facilitating cultural change. Designs and maintains the cloud infrastructure components, including network design, virtual machine resource allocation, storage and security. Ensures designs are in line with overall Information Technology standards, collaborating with stakeholders to align cloud architecture with service tiers, internal Service Level Agreements and organization goals.

CAREER LEVEL

May be responsible for the training and orientation of 2 or more employees; typically reports to an Associate Director/Senior Manager (M3), Director (M4), or Assistant/Associate Dean. Knowledge of principals within body of formal knowledge or in-depth knowledge across multiple work areas. Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals. Uses judgement, evaluation and interpretation to help others select the right course of action. Impact is typically on medium-term (1 - 2 year) goals; translates goals into operational activities and guides their execution. Develops and manages initiatives to deliver results. Interacts with peers, individual contributors and stakeholders to discuss and resolve operational matters. May influence or explain to other outside of immediate area policies, practices and procedures to gain cooperation.

Position Summary

o The End User Computing (EUC) Manager is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of all end-user devices and services, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and virtual endpoint technologies. This role leads the teams and platforms that enable a secure, reliable, and high-quality computing experience for employees across the organization.

o Manages teams responsible for cloud computing, automation, operations, maintenance, and support of Hospital System end-user computing environment.

o Provides supportive leadership for product release planning, design, development, operational readiness, and support led by the digital experience product team.

o Serves as a technical leader overseeing all Windows, MAC, iOS operating systems support, maintenance and upgrades across all managed devices.

o Coordinates initiatives across multiple departments, service lines, platforms, and administrative interfaces related to endpoint device management including desktops, laptops, WOWs, iPhones, iPads.

o Support and development of existing and new delivery tools in Altiris, WorkSpace One, SCCM with a migration strategy to Microsoft InTune.

o Leads high-risk, high-impact projects, evaluates new and existing technologies, and aligns IT strategy with evolving business needs.

o Recognized organization-wide as a subject matter expert and a key resource for resolving the most complex initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree may be desirable. 5 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
