Job description

SCOPE OF THE JOB

As Sr Digital E-Commerce, you will own the end-to-end direct-to-consumer business, including full P&L responsibility, while leading the strategy and execution across site operations, merchandising, CRM, and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and operational execution, focused on driving revenue growth, optimizing performance across the funnel, and elevating the overall digital experience. You will play a critical role in scaling the ecommerce business and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable commercial results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Own DTC revenue and profitability, managing the full P&L of a high-volume ecommerce business

▪ Define and execute the digital commerce strategy to drive growth across traffic, conversion, and retention

▪ Lead merchandising strategy and daily site optimization to maximize revenue performance

▪ Build and manage the promotional and product launch calendar aligned with commercial targets

▪ Partner with demand planning to align inventory, forecasting, and sales plans

▪ Oversee CRM strategy (email, SMS) to drive engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value

▪ Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, AOV, and repeat purchase

▪ Lead end-to-end website operations, including content updates, QA, order flow, and issue resolution

▪ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, product, and technology teams

▪ Continuously optimize the digital customer experience, including checkout flow and site usability

▪ Identify and implement new initiatives to scale online revenue and improve performance

▪ Ensure accuracy of site content and compliance with legal and brand standards

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ 7+ years of experience in digital commerce or ecommerce leadership roles

▪ Proven ownership of DTC P&L for a scaled ecommerce business (multi-million revenue, $25M+ range or similar complexity)

▪ Strong experience managing merchandising, CRM (email/SMS), and cross-functional teams

▪ Deep understanding of ecommerce performance levers (traffic acquisition, conversion rate, AOV, retention)

▪ Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to drive revenue growth

▪ Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, consumer-facing environments (beauty or similar industries preferred)

▪ Demonstrated ability to execute both strategically and operationally in hands-on roles

▪ Experience working with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory alignment

▪ Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and tools (e.g., Shopify or similar ecosystems)

▪ Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

▪ Data-driven decision-making with a focus on performance and continuous optimization

▪ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and solve complex problems
