This exciting position as a Sr. Director of E-Commerce is critical to the success of Foot Locker's Growth Strategy. As a Sr. Director of E-Commerce, you will report to the VP of Global E-Commerce and serve as an instrumental leader of a vital team in the organization. In this role, you will lead the Digital Commerce business, utilizing a consumer-first mindset through site merchandising, site content, new product onboarding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on content execution, developing and executing comprehensive digital commerce strategies that are aligned with business objectives and growth targets. You will also partner with the Lockers GM on all activities to ensure consistency across the banner.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and be accountable for full results of Foot Locker US & CA e-commerce business including demand & net sales targets, along with profit results each month
  • Align with Lockers GM on all activities to ensure consistency across the banner
  • Own weekly business results & recaps across Foot Locker meetings, leveraging product selling data, web & marketing analytics and other insights to assess drivers, propose key action items to cross functional teams

Manage a team of 10+ associates with ownership across the following areas:
Site Operations
  • Track & activate all skus that are ready for sale daily utilizing variety of in-house and external tracking and catalog management systems; ensure all PDPs are accurate and complete for customer usage
  • Manage operations of our hot & atomic launch product releases
  • Optimize site navigation hierarchy and filter strategy by marrying key investments and emerging attributes with SEO data, UX research and customer behavior metrics
  • Improve on-site search results through product attribution, keyword implementation, and synonym and spelling correction management
  • Run, analyze and distribute weekly reports regarding page views, search terms, cross-selling completion and activations
  • Partner with IT on all site issues for quick remediation

Site Merchandising
  • Drive customer-focused merchandising strategies that highlight key investments, best selling products and emerging attributes throughout the shopping experience
  • Define linking plan & merchandising strategy for all marketing to ensure best possible customer experience when clicking through to site
  • Partner with merchandising teams to implement and maintain seasonal categories
  • Implement and optimize cross-selling strategies through product recommendations
  • Maintain all merchandising execution across all site and app experiences including categories and search results

Site Content
  • Develop site/app content plan for all placements (ex. homepage, PLP, PDP) by utilizing monthly business priorities and data in partnership with merchants, marketing, analytics, and creative teams
  • Request and maintain all content assets across all mobile, desktop & app experiences
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including product owners & EXV to develop new content features
  • Be a key leader in development of site personalization roadmap and feature set

Additional Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements for site features as well as enhancements to business applications that maximize customer experience and streamline workflows
  • Key stakeholder in our EXV testing pods, as well as championing a entrepreneurial test-and-learn culture
  • Collaborate with finance & planning on monthly demand & sales forecasts to ensure accurate daily targets are built
  • Drive, in partnership with key stakeholders, commercial & promotional calendar for the e-commerce business
  • Influence & be a key stakeholder in digital marketing strategies & spend in order to optimize site traffic
  • Think omni-channel, as an ultimate partner to our field in optimization of BOPIS, Ship from store, and our in-store app experience
  • Be skilled in building team and individual capability, while also being a great team contributor on the larger leadership stage
  • Navigate in and out of the 'big picture' while also managing the day to day to deliver the business plan

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years' of retail e-commerce experience in a leadership capacity; apparel or footwear experience a plus
  • A BA/BS in a business-related field is required
  • Demonstrated track record of successful business results
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver projects in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player
  • Ability to think broader, including technology needs to achieve goals
  • Understanding of retail industry, merchandising, marketing and IT preferred.

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $190000 - $225000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
