HELP BUILD A DIGITAL EXPERIENCE THAT DRIVES GROWTH, PERFORMANCE, AND LONG-TERM STRATEGIC GROWTH.

POLYWOOD® is looking for a Director, E-Commerce who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys work that blends digital strategy, financial ownership, customer experience, and cross-functional leadership. This role is perfect for someone who loves accountability, values measurable growth, and wants to lead a rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer channel that plays a critical role in our company’s future.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the E-Commerce P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and accountability for revenue, margin, and operating expenses across the DTC channel.

• Define and execute the long-term digital strategy and roadmap aligned with company objectives and market opportunity.

• Direct overall site taxonomy, navigation, and user experience to maximize product discoverability and streamline the path-to-purchase.

• Establish and enforce best practices for online product lifecycle management including SKU enrichment, categorization, and data integrity.

• Lead site UX development by partnering with design, reviewing key customer flows, and participating in testing to ensure a frictionless shopping experience.

• Own the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategy including goal setting, resource allocation, and oversight of the testing roadmap across all funnels.

• Drive advanced personalization and recommendation engines (Dynamic Yield, Nosto, Bloomreach) to deliver individualized experiences at scale.

• Utilize advanced analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio) to identify systemic friction points and define high-impact improvements.

• Direct planning and flawless execution of seasonal launches, sitewide promotions, and major product rollouts.

• Conduct QA/UAT to verify product data accuracy, SEO tagging, and technical functionality across desktop and mobile platforms.

• Partner with Creative, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align priorities and execute against a clear e-commerce roadmap.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of progressive E-Commerce leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Director or Senior Manager capacity, preferably within a high-growth DTC brand.

• Proven track record of owning P&L performance and successfully scaling a multi-million dollar e-commerce business.

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience building, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.

• Mastery of digital shopping behavior, advanced funnel optimization, and interpreting complex analytics to inform strategic investment decisions.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Bonus Skills:

• Experience implementing advanced personalization engines and testing platforms.

• Deep technical familiarity with e-commerce platforms, integrations, and digital optimization tools.

• Experience leading large-scale digital transformations or platform migrations.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

• Valued Contribution: You own and scale a critical revenue channel that directly impacts company growth.

• Strategic Influence: Shape the long-term digital roadmap and customer experience strategy.

• Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with leaders across Creative, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Operations.

• Purpose Driven Growth: Help build a sustainable brand that connects customers to products designed to last for generations.
