Director of Sales – Pipeline Data Solutions

The Director of Sales will be instrumental in driving growth and expanding market presence. They will lead a talented sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer‑centricity. They will collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, operations, and marketing to tailor our offerings to meet evolving market demands and technological advancements. In this role, they will also act as a key ambassador of our brand at industry events and in client engagements, positioning the company as a trusted leader in asset integrity.

Major Responsibilities & ActivitiesSales Team Leadership and Development
  • Guide, coach, and support sales professionals to enhance individual and team performance, develop core sales competencies, and foster a high‑achieving, accountable sales culture.
  • Create and implement robust onboarding and ongoing training initiatives to accelerate ramp‑up, elevate team skills, and ensure consistency in sales execution.
  • Oversee the creation and continual improvement of sales playbooks, equipping the team with best practices, tools, and strategies for success.
Strategic Sales Management and Market Engagement
  • Craft and execute comprehensive sales plans focused on achieving company revenue targets and expanding market share within the asset integrity sector.
  • Establish clear, data‑driven metrics to set sales goals, monitor team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design a Sales Incentive Plan that motivates desired behaviors and aligns with key business priorities.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with major clients, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities, refining sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Identify, target, and secure new customers and partnership opportunities to expand the company’s reach and influence in the industry.
Sales Operations and Performance Excellence
  • Prepare accurate, timely sales forecasts and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Lead sales negotiations to secure favorable terms, collaborating with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts support company objectives and protect interests.
  • Collect and analyze client feedback to refine sales approaches, enhance service delivery, and inform product improvements, ensuring responsiveness to evolving customer needs.
Minimum Requirements / Key Attributes
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in related technical and/or sales leadership/management roles.
  • Experience in building high‑performing teams, developing training programs, and creating sales playbooks.
  • Experience in asset integrity, inline inspection, or related industrial sectors is highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share, including setting and tracking metrics, designing incentive programs, and adjusting tactics based on market intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong, senior‑level relationships within customer organizations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sales CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated strong judgment and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to plan and organize work with multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and delegation skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful and/or high‑pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Travel Requirements

This position will require travel as needed to actively drive business initiatives.
