Director Commercial AnalyticsWhat you will do

As the Director of Commercial Analytics, you will play a critical role in leading and guiding the overall analytics strategy for TEPEZZA in the U.S., working to accelerate business growth and speed up commercial decision-making processes. You will manage and mentor a high-performing team, delivering actionable insights that support brand strategy development and measurement, while driving data-driven decision-making across key business functions.

This leader will be the primary point of contact between Executives, Marketing/Field Leaders, and cross-functional teams. You will oversee the development and delivery of robust secondary analytics, including National and Subnational insights, a KPI measurement framework, and other strategic recommendations that provide a clear and holistic understanding of business performance. By identifying risks, opportunities, and key growth drivers, you will help unlock barriers, optimize efficiencies, and guide business strategies toward accelerated growth.

Flexible Commuter role to Deerfield, IL or Thousand Oaks, CA Amgen office. You will work on-site a minimum of 2-3 days a week.

Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
  • Master’s degree and 8 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
  • In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to engage with Executives and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong experience in designing dashboards and reporting on strategic business needs
  • Expertise in analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) and integrating solutions across systems
  • Ability to identify business problems and drive process optimization

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
