Job description

Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the Quality Administrative Supervisor, the Quality & Data Intern will support the team by helping organize and prepare product documentation, assisting with quality projects, and learning about compliance requirements in manufacturing. This role is designed for a high school student interested in exploring careers in engineering, quality, or manufacturing. The intern will gain hands-on experience with real industry systems while developing organizational, technical, and teamwork skills.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist with organizing and updating documentation related to product approvals.
  • Help prepare basic templates and packages used in customer submissions.
  • Support the team by checking documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Learn to navigate customer websites and internal systems to upload or organize files.
  • Assist in preparing simple compliance statements with guidance.
  • Support projects related to product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors on progress and learning.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to group goals.

Other duties assigned:
  • Gain exposure to quality certifications (ISO, IATF, AS9100).
  • Learn how documentation supports product approvals and customer requirements.
  • Observe how quality audits and compliance systems work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in special projects or tasks to support continuous improvement.
  • Explore career paths within engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Qualifications:
  • Current high school student interested in engineering, manufacturing, or business.
