The Administrative Assistant at the Elba Day Habilitation provides day to day administrative support to the day habilitation team.

WHAT IS ARC GLOW?

WHO DOES THE ARC GLOW SUPPORT?
  • People with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be valued members of their communities, with the opportunity to realize their full potential and a future that is secure.
WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
  • Perform receptionist duties for Elba Day Habilitation and screens visitors.
  • Answer phones and take messages for all staff at the Elba Day Habilitation site.
  • Assists with filing in file records and medical records. Maintain archived files.
  • Checks and distributes incoming mail to appropriate parties.
  • Monitor and order office supplies and equipment and maintain inventory of such items.
  • Provides secretarial support to Director, Coordinator, QA Manager and others.
  • Assist with scheduling needs of the Day Habilitation program.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST II:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years' experience as a receptionist and/or administrative assistant.
  • This position requires a valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW.
